PracticeRESOURCES

CHOIR STORE offers a practice resource called a Soundslice for each individual song in its catalogue. Soundslice is platform to help musicians learn and practice music more efficiently by providing an interactive score that syncs with audio recordings for each vocal part.

Soundslice offers Intuitive practice tools. Select which vocal part to practice. Click a note in the score to go to that moment of the audio track. Drag across notes to make a loop. Slow down, multi-track and much more. Soundslice works on any device with a web browser. No need to install anything.

Read How to use the Soundslice player for more infomation.

We produce the audio tracks for each Soundslice using one of two voice synthesisers: Ace Studio or Cantai. The results are amazingly life-like. We don't pretend that they are always at 'performance quality' but as learning resources we think they are superb.

Try Soundslice by listening to one of our free resources HERE. It's Roger Watson's arrangement of Hail, Smiling Morn! in West Gallery scoring - Tenor, Counter, Air and Bass.
