This version of Only Remembered is from Volume IV of Vance Randolph’s monumental Ozark Folksongs. Randolph noted it from the singing of Mrs. Frances Hall, Pineville, Missouri in August 1927. Mrs. Hall heard it at Ozark camp-meetings in 1898.
