Sarah Morgan was a linchpin of the English traditional folk scene and sang professionally with several groups, most notably with Craig, Morgan, Robson. Sarah died in 2013 at the age of 64. The Sarah Morgan Foundation was established in her memory to foster and develop community choirs and promote English traditional folk song. She published View the Land in a song collection in 2003, saying in her introduction, 'Make the songs your own and have fun with them'.
